I am a Lead UX Designer with over 9 years of experience in enterprise UX Design. My passion for user experience design began when I was studying graphic design at the University of Georgia. I quickly realized that I enjoyed solving problems through design and decided to focus on user experience.
After graduation, I started my career as a UX designer at Jabil, where I helped build software to empower 300 of the world's largest brands and over 180,000 internal employees. I learned the importance of user research & testing when solving problems and how to create successful products at an enterprise scale. At Jabil, I became a Senior Designer and was responsible for leading Design teams to deliver seamless experiences, no matter what environment we were working in.
I am now a Lead UX Designer at Jabil, where I lead teams of designers from around the world and contribute when its appropriate for the team. I am passionate about creating intuitive and user-centered designs that solve real problems for our customers. I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and am always striving to improve our design process to create the best possible experience for our users.
Aside from my job at Jabil, I am also the CEO of Ark Builder Golf. That is my entrepreneurial showcase for the electrical & mechanical engineering, CAM programming, and machining skills that I've learned over the last five years. It is my entrepreneurial journey of taking a hobby to a side business.
I am constantly learning and staying up to date with the latest design trends & methodologies and how they tie into our lives. It is an ever evolving landscape that I am traversing to hone my design practices, and I am driven to create successful products that make a positive impact on people's lives.
